Although it was a relatively small entry for a Longton event, with the weather being kind to us and drivers keeping it on the ‘black stuff’, all entrants were given the opportunity of 2 practice runs and 2 timed runs before lunch and 4 timed runs in the afternoon.
A good day was had by all!!

Thanks to all the Longton Team for a slick event. Hardly time to clean the tyres and refuel before we ere out again.
One fellow competitor posted the following on the Uphill Racers site:
“It took a couple of runs for all the drivers to get up to Dorans’ pace! He would have looked at home on an aircraft carrier”
